Matt Maltese has revealed his latest piece of wry, sultry and evocative alt. pop in the shape of 'Strange Time'. Taking influence from the songwriting gravitas of Leonard Cohen and with nods to the likes of Richard Hawley, the South London newcomer is making music beyond young years as this latest cut floats woozily along in a romantic shade that brings to mind the success of Tobias Jesso Jr. Maltese is taking his live show on tour with a London headline on 17 October.
